IN THE WORKS
Speaking about their follow-up to 'Pala', Friendly Fires drummer Jack Savidge told NME: "We want to explore some other things. We consider 'Pala' a continuation of the first record and I think this time we'll want to come back with something new to keep everybody else interested. We're trying to push ourselves forward."
NME recently reported that Adele is currently working on new material. Speaking to French radio station NRJ, she said: "There will be a new song, probably coming out at the end of the year. But then it depends how quickly I write some other new songs." When asked about a new LP, she shared: "It won't be for a good two years".
Deftones have said that they will be recording their new studio album in July. Speaking to Chilean website Latercera.com, the band's frontman Chino Moreno described their new album as "futuristic" and "more dynamic".
Tribes singer Johnny Lloyd recently told NME that the band already "have a batch of new songs" ready and they're looking to record them as soon as they can. He also revealed that the band planned to road-test them during their forthcoming live shows and festival slots.
